House of Hogwarts
Ravenclaw
“Where those of wit and learning”
Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure
Ravenclaw is the house of wisdom, wit, and curiosity. Founded by Rowena Ravenclaw and symbolized by the eagle, this is the house where ideas are currency and a clever question is worth more than a fast answer.
What it means to be in Ravenclaw
Ravenclaws live for the puzzle more than the prize. They want to understand how things work, why things are the way they are, and what would happen if you tried it sideways. They tend to be original thinkers, voracious readers, and willing to be the only person in a room holding an unpopular but well-reasoned opinion. The shadow side: a Ravenclaw who values cleverness over kindness can become detached, judgmental, or so lost in their own ideas they forget the people in front of them.
The Ravenclaw Common Room
Ravenclaw Tower sits at the top of a spiral staircase, and the door doesn't take a password — it asks you a riddle. Inside, the room is airy, blue, and full of books, with arched windows that look out across the mountains. A statue of Rowena Ravenclaw watches over everything.
